I am a PhD candidate at the University of Virginia (degree expected May 2018). Previously, I received my MA from the University of Virginia (2014) and my BA from DePauw University (2012). My research and teaching interests focus on social movements and gender, with a primary focus on South Asia, as well as the Middle East. I currently serve as the Graduate Representative for the APSA Women's Caucus and work for the Gendering Political Science project. I am also a PRB Policy Communications Fellow (2017).
