The Women's Caucus for Political Science is a national, nonprofit organization whose mission is to upgrade the status of women in the profession of political science, including but not limited to graduate school admissions, academic employment, tenure and promotion, non academic employment, and the overall promotion of equal opportunity for all women.
Gendering Political Science (GPS) develops new strategies for diversifying the social sciences and addressing discrimination in the academy. It achieves this goal by inviting social scientists who work on gender, race, sexuality, intersectionality, and coalitions to apply the lessons from their research to higher education.
